The warranty information contained in this description is intended to communicate a basic, generalized, description of the warranty policies of OPLINK SOLUTIONS, INC. The actual warranty practice for each customer may vary depending upon specific contract agreements and/or modified terms and conditions.

Repair Warranty
OpLink Solutions, Inc. warrants that the repair services and materials provided hereunder by OPLINK and purchased by customer against defects in material and workmanship which manifest themselves within ninety (90) days of the date the services and/or material are provided. Upon notice to OPLINK of a breach of the foregoing warranty, OPLINK shall remedy such breach by re-performing the service or, at its option, repairing or replacing defective material. Remedial warranty services will be performed only during normal work hours unless the services giving rise to the warranty claim were performed outside of normal working hours.
Calibration Warranty
OpLink Solutions, Inc. warrants that calibration services will be performed in accordance with accepted industry. The information contained in all certificates of calibration, calibration reports and data sheets will accurately reflect the calibration service performed. If calibration services, which fail to meet the foregoing warranty, are identified within the ninety (90) day period following performance of such services, OPLINK shall re-perform the services to the same extent and on the same conditions as the original service. OpLink does not warrant the interval of calibration. Interval assignment and adjustment is a responsibility of the end user. If no interval is specified by the customer, OPLINK calibration labels and certificates will indicate a recommended interval of calibration. This action is taken as a precaution for the benefit of the end user.
Exceptions
The warranties stated above shall not apply to equipment that is damaged by:
1) Accident, disaster, including without limitation fire,
flood, wind, water, lightning and power failure;
2) Neglect, misuse, mishandling, or abuse;
3) Unauthorized work, modifications or alterations;
4) Use of the equipment in conjuncture with defective third
party hardware or software.
Nor shall warranties apply to instruments with broken calibration seals.
All warranties must be reviewed and approved by the Shop Manager or Quality Manager before they may be remedied.
OPLINK does not warrant any equipment, material, components or services of others which the customer has specified.
